Our journey started in 1976 with a passion to better open spaces. Managing Director Steve Selby has a background in civil design & his passion for the outdoors, instilled a desire to create open spaces that were not only appealing, but user friendly and accessible by everyone as well.

Terrain Group has been instrumental in enhancing outdoor amenities for more than 40 years. If you’ve taken the kids to the park, kicked the footy at the local oval or used a public restroom, you’ve come into contact with our products.

Our very first project was an irrigation project – the iconic Victor Harbor Croquet Club. In late 90s, we expanded into the furniture market and in 2000s; our custom built products became the preferred choice for urban design projects.

In 2015, we began our partnership with The Italian Lab after we saw clients were demanding a sophisticated and innovative design element. Terrain Group is the exclusive distributor for The Italian Lab’s modern and unconventional products in Australia.
