Yarra Toilet Building – Ceduna SA

On the far West Coast of South Australia, the iconic little coastal town of Ceduna has a number of Terrain Group’s products installed around it’s streets. Recently, a request for tenders for a new toilet block on the town’s foreshore was released and Terrain submitted the winning tender, with a beautiful MODUS Australia toilet building.

With an incredible backdrop, the toilet building houses four cubicles and one urinal bay. Of the four cubicles, two of them are ambulant – one of which is accessible through the urinal bay – one is a standard cubicle and the last is a Universal wheelchair compliant cubicle. The service area is built into the rear of the building to conceal the cisterns and doubles as a store for maintenance equipment.

The building features standard hardwired lighting and the council chose to add hand dryers and electric door locks on timers, to assist with keeping the building secure at night times. The slab was laid by Terrain Group as well, proving again how Terrain offers a complete solution, from specification to completion.

Terrain’s team was on site for approximately three weeks, with the build going perfectly to plan, resulting in a happy customer!

“The professionalism and commitment to achieving a high standard the construction of this facility is a credit to your company and the individuals involved.”
Grant Drummond – General Manager Operations, District Council of Ceduna
